Minister of Labor: Engineering education is the key to open the door to successful social development

(Phnom Penh): Strengthening the quality of engineering education is a priority pillar in the National Strategic Development Plan of the Royal Government of Cambodia. The Royal Government considers quality education as an indispensable key point for human resource development and sustainable social development. Cambodia needs to accelerate its social and economic development to catch up with its regional and other countries in the world. These views clearly reflect that engineering education is the key to successful social development.


 This was stated by HE Dr. Ith Sam Heng, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training and Chairman of the Council of Engineers of Cambodia, High Representative of Samdech Techo Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Honorary President of the Board of Engineers of Cambodia at the Closing Ceremony of the General Assembly.
